Holy Rosary’s 75th anniversary in photos

By Ellen, with some photos by Marie Nigro

Our parish recently celebrated its 75th anniversary! Despite having to move the events inside due to the rain, a good time was had by all! And stay tuned: we have even more photos to share, and we’re also planning a slideshow of Holy Rosary history.

Announcing our anniversary to the neighbourhood!

A banner with text, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish - 75 years
We hung a banner on Wellington Street for the occasion

This bike also had a special anniversary message!

Saturday evening Mass

Our Pastor Father Dan officiated the Trinity Sunday Vigil Mass. The sanctuary was decorated with beautiful flowers for the occasion!

Sunday Mass of Thanksgiving with the Archbishop

Archbishop Marcel Damphousse celebrated our 75th Anniversary Mass, Trinity Sunday Mass, with Father Dan, Deacon Mathew and our former Pastor Father Dennis.

Anniversary reception

The festivities continued in the parish hall with food, trivia, and the first item for our time capsule!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered for these events. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Our anniversary was even featured in The Catholic Register! Click here to read the article.
